Curriculum

At the kindergarten we nurture every child and work hard together to enable them to develop to their full potential through play.
We use ‘Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage’ to assess children regularly through our online journal system Tapestry.

We offer places for children from 2 years 6 months and through play the children develop confidence and skills to prepare them for life in School. They are offered a wide range of activities including painting, cooking, construction, stories, water and playdough to name but a few and we also explore our local surrounding area and community whenever we can. We place an importance on outside play and Forest School to help build confidence, resilience and independence and promoting new experiences.

Snack time is also an important part of our daily routine that supports healthy eating, communication and language and social skills. We work on promoting routines and the children’s own self care to help them reach their full potential when they move on from us.
