Mark making.

We added an element of risk to our mark making and used the step ladder to mark make. This activity encouraged us to stretch up as high as we could. We worked on our physical development and used both gross and fine motor skills. This activity also encouraged turn taking.

Sand play

Using tights is a great enhancement for the sand. Lots of maths opportunities when talking about size, weight and making comparisons. Such a great work out for our hands to get them ready for writing.
