Laura (Manager) 

Laura has worked in childcare for 20 years and her working history has included work in a nursery, working as a Nanny and various other roles within early years settings. Laura enjoys the variety in her role and that every day is totally different. Laura has three children and enjoys walking her dogs. 

Raija (Playworker) 

Raija has worked at The Kindergarten since November 2009. She came to work in childcare through childminding when her three daughters were in primary and pre-school and followed this with a NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Development and Learning. Raija has a Makaton qualification and makes amazing play dough every week, which the children absolutely love! Raija has three grown up children. 

Emma H - Deputy Manager

Emma joined The Kindergarten in September 2018 and completed her Level 2 qualification in 2019. Emma has two children who have both attended The British School. She also has five dogs and enjoys cooking, boxing and music.

Rachael

Rachael joined The Kindergarten in 2020 and is currently completing her Level 2 Childcare course. She has two young children who attend The British School and in her spare time likes baking. 

Jodie joined The Kindergarten at the beginning of 2023. She has previously trained as a primary school teacher and has worked as a childminder. She is very close to completing her level 3 Forest School Leader qualification (and leads Forest School at the British School). Jodie has two children, a couple of bonkers bunnies and a grumpy cat! She loves to swim, spend time outdoors and paint. 

Sarah has worked at the kindergarten since September 2023. She has previously worked as an Early years teacher in Reception and year 1 and is Forest School trained. Sarah has 3 children that attend The British School and in her spare time walks in the woods and when she finds the time reading.
