Packed Lunches

Here are some super examples of packed lunches that are balanced, healthy and have appropriate portions for pre-school children.

Here are some ideas of things you could bring in your packed lunch: 

 

  • Sandwiches, wraps or pittas

  • Small pots of pasta with your child's favourite topping

  • Chopped up fruit and vegetables

  • Hummus 

  • Rice cakes

  • Breadsticks 

  • Crackers

  • Yoghurt

  • A small treat - one chocolate bar or cake

  • A drink - preferably water!

 

Please ensure that grapes and other small fruits are chopped to an appropriate size to prevent choking.
