Kindergarten trip to Wild place project.
Thu 20 Jul 2023All of the children, their parents and staff of the kindergarten enjoyed a fantastic fully funded end of year trip to the Wild Place project in Bristol on the 19th July to celebrate the end of a great year. It was the first time some of the children had ever seen giraffes, bears, lemurs and monkeys and we all had a brilliant time.

Making butter.

Making Bread
Thu 06 Jul 2023After reading the ‘Giant Jam Sandwich’ this week it sparked interest in making bread. We talked about the process of making bread from farm to fork. It was absolutely delicious. 🥪

Learning about Bees 🐝
Sat 24 Jun 2023This week we were very lucky to have a visit from Carolyn who helped us learn all about bees, showing us what a hive looked like and we got to try some of the delicious honey her bees made for our snack. Thank you Carolyn. 🐝 🐝

Fish.
Wed 17 May 2023There has been a lot of talk about fish that live in the sea at kindergarten so we decided to explore a real Mackerel fish. This opened up lots of discussion about how they breathe under water with their gills, how they use their fins to swim and what fascinated us most was their mouth and their bones 🎣

Looking after our teeth.
Fri 10 Mar 2023We have been learning how to look after our teeth and have been practicing brushing by trying to clean all the sticky jam off the big teeth and talking about how too much sugar can lead to cavities.
