Heathy eating.
Thu 14 Oct 2021We feel it is very important that the children at kindergarten are introduced to a wide variety of foods. Aswell as lots of different fruits and vegetables at snack time we like the children to prepare and try new and varied dishes and a big focus this year is healthy eating. We find getting the children involved in the preparation of their own food encourages them to try new dishes. We recently made a very tasty hidden vegetable sauce to go with pasta that everyone enjoyed.

Oral health
Thu 27 May 2021At kindergarten oral health is something we are able to work alongside you with. It is a priority for us to promote good practice in regard to food and drink and we spend time talking with the children about the best drinks and food to eat to combat tooth decay. We also use a puppet ‘Alan the Alligator’ that is able to visit the dentist with the children if you wish. Please let us know when you have an appointment so that you can borrow Alan.
